The windows software ELCOWIN
served to measure the straightness, squareness, parallelism and
flatness of guideways with electronical autocollimators of the ELCOMAT
series from the Möller-Wedel-Optical company. Measured
values of both horizontal and vertical measuring axes of the ELCOMAT
are simultaneously captured and evaluated. The data aqusition
is be made automatical and software controlled, but it is also
possible to input the measured values manually via keyboard. The measuring priciple
The geometrical data are prinzipally determined from the
location-dependent changes
of the tilt angles on the measuring object. At the using the auto-collimation method the location-dependent tilting of an
reference mirror to the optical axis of the measuring system will be
measured in both horizontal and vertical measuring axes.
The tilt angle values are the ELCOWIN input data. Depending
to the measurement problem ELCOWIN computed the straightness, squareness, parallelism or flatness of
the measuring object from these measured values. The accuracy of measurement is only determined
from the ELCOMAT accuray (in genenal <= two arcsec.) and
the enviroment influences. ELCOWIN – so that you can concentrate on the measurement
ELCOWIN is characterized by
a high ease of use and first class software ergonomics. For different
measurement problems you can create custom-tailored measurement
templates.
Furthermore ELCOWIN enables the editing, evaluation and
storage of the measurement results as soon as whose expressive
representation in measurement records and free configurable and
scalable graphics. There are interfaces to edit and evaluate the
measurement results with additional applications (text processing,
spreadsheets etc.) via the MS-Windows clipboard or the creation of
textfiles.
For an customer-friendly using of ELCOWIN and a easy
measurement design it is possible to save all measurement and
evaluation parameter in configuration files. The measurement process
takes place software-controlled as far as possible. Base of all
measurements are measurement templates wherein important measurement
parameter are saved (among others the measuring point positions at
the measuring object and the using measuring axes). The measurement status window
shows the progress of measurement. Here you can see all
essential informations of the current measurement like the measured
values, the using measurement template, the current or next
measuring position and so on. With the available functions you
start, stop, suspend and resume the measurements. During the
measured data aqusition incorrect captured values everytime can
corrected by repaeting the measurement at the belonging measuring position.
The measured data aquisition optionally takes place manual via
keyborad or remote control, automatical clock-controlled or via a
manual direct data input. The representation
of the measurement results takes place in free configurable
measurement records and graphics. ELCOWIN can save the
measured values and measurement records as textfiles in several
formats to processing the same with other applications.
To compare measurements ELCOWIN can represent the
results of any measurements in the same graphics, of course with
free selectable presentation parameters for each measurement. Download
