Elektronischer Autokollimator ELCOMAT Vario
The windows software ELCOLEVEL served to measure the straightness, squareness, parallelism, angle of rolls and flatness of guideways with angle capturing measuring systems like e.g. electronical autocollimators and inclination scales. Measured values of up to three measuring axes are simultaneously captured and evaluated, whereby all measuring axes are free selectable with available input device data channels. The data aqusition is be made automatical and software controlled, but it is also possible to input the measured values manually via keyboard.
Due the simultaneously measurement in three measuring axes e.g. it is possible, with the integrated using of an autocollimator and a inclination scale, to measure the straightness in two axes and the angle of rolls of a guideway in a measurement process.

The measuring priciple



The geometrical data are principally determined from the location-dependent changes of the tilt angles on the measuring object. The tilt angle measurement itself is various for the different input devices. E.g. at the using the auto-collimation method the location-dependent tilting of an reference mirror to the optical axis of the measuring system will be measured in two horizontal and vertical measuring axes. Inclination scales consists of an measurement pendular with an integrated inductive angle sensor.
All these input devices provides tilt angle measured values, the input data for ELCOLEVEL. Depending to the measurement problem ELCOLEVEL computed the straightness, squareness, parallelism or flatness of the measuring object from these measured values. The accuracy of measurement is only determined from the accuray of the input devices and the enviroment influences.

ELCOLEVEL is characterized by a high ease of use and first class software ergonomics. For different measurement problems you can create custom-tailored measurement templates.
Furthermore ELCOLEVEL enables the editing, evaluation and storage of the measurement results as soon as whose expressive representation in measurement records and free configurable and scalable graphics. There are interfaces to edit and evaluate the measurement results with additional applications (text processing, spreadsheets etc.) via the MS-Windows clipboard or the creation of textfiles.
For an customer-friendly using of ELCOLEVEL and a easy measurement design it is possible to save all measurement and evaluation parameter in configuration files.

The measurement process



takes place software-controlled as far as possible. Base of all measurements are measurement templates wherein important measurement parameter are saved (among others the measuring point positions at the measuring object and the using measuring axes).

The measurement status window

shows the progress of measurement. Here you can see all essential informations of the current measurement like the measured values, the using measurement template, the current or next measuring position and so on. With the available functions you start, stop, suspend and resume the measurements. During the measured data aqusition incorrect captured values everytime can corrected by repaeting the measurement at the belonging measuring position. The measured data aquisition optionally takes place manual via keyborad or remote control, automatical clock-controlled or via a manual direct data input.

The representation



of the measurement results takes place in free configurable measurement records and graphics. ELCOLEVEL can save the measured values and measurement records as textfiles in several formats to processing the same with other applications.
To compare measurements ELCOLEVEL can represent the results of any measurements in the same graphics, of course with free selectable presentation parameters for each measurement.

Compatibility



New interfaces for tilt angle measuring devices are always developed. Please call OEG or ask by mail, so we can inform you, which angle measuring devices are compatible with ELCOLEVEL. If your device is not compatible yet, the OEG software engineers also gladly develope a interface for your application.
